Reading another chameleon’s thoughts on my book Colours of a Cultural Chameleon made me speechless, filled my heart with joy & brought a tear to my eyes ❤️
What made my eyes well up?
I don’t know, but maybe the fact that it resonated so deeply and that even though our stories are so different, nonetheless many thoughts and experiences are similar 💖. It’s a shared experience of many third-cultural and cross-cultural kids. It’s something I’ve heard a few times before, from others who’ve lived or grown up in more than one country.
Thankful for this beautiful review
Isn’t it amazing what books can do ☺️? The power of stories & books 🙏
Mission accomplished🙏 : reaching out to others with similar experience.
Wiebke touches on so many aspects of the book and made me realise there’s so much more that my book covers 😀, not just Kamala’s mantra ‘Trust a stranger & new doors open’. It’s Kamala’s adventurous spirit that rings through all the pages of the book, which has deeply touched many readers.
Adventurous spirits is something our societies could use a lot more of

Are you one of those adventurous spirits?
I was amazed when I read the following...
It connected me to a younger me that enjoyed this lightness of travelling and welcoming the unknown in a very similar way. A rejuvenating experience!.....as I grew older, became a mother, my responsibilities changed and priorities shifted..."
I know what she means. Does this resonate with you too?
